What is Dysport?

Dysport is an injectable cosmetic treatment used to reduce the appearance of glabellar lines. Dysport uses botulinum toxin type A, a type of neurotoxin known as a neuromodulator. When injected into the facial muscles, the neurotoxin stops them from contracting, resulting in smooth, firm skin and softening nearby frown lines.

How it Works

To prevent any pain during your Dysport treatment, your skin will first be treated with a topical numbing cream. Your treatment provider will then inject Dysport into your facial muscles using a very fine needle. The neurotoxin will relax the muscles in your forehead and between your eyebrows, which will soften any dynamic wrinkles in the area. Overall, the treatment shouldn’t take more than 15 to 30 minutes.
