Day of Surgery
Following your facelift surgery, you'll receive close monitoring by our medical staff in a dedicated recovery room. You'll receive pain medication and detailed instructions for caring for your incisions and bandages to manage discomfort, swelling, and pain.
Following Days
After your facelift, rest is essential, and strenuous activities should be avoided. To manage common side effects like bruising and swelling, ice packs, pain medication, and compression garments are recommended to promote an optimal healing environment.
One Week
You'll return for a follow-up appointment at the one-week mark to remove stitches and drains. While light activities are generally permissible, avoiding strenuous activities and following your surgeon's advice for a successful recovery is important.
Two Weeks
During the second week of your facelift recovery, you can gradually reintegrate into your daily life but avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise. Although you may experience some swelling and tenderness, these symptoms should subside, and you should feel more comfortable healing.
Six Weeks
At the six-week mark of your facelift recovery, you'll notice significant progress, and most normal activities, including exercise and lifting, can be resumed. Your facial features will settle into their new, more youthful shape and size, and you'll see the full benefits of your facelift surgery.
Three Months
Approaching the three-month post-surgery milestone, your face should be fully healed, with any swelling or discomfort gradually fading. You'll begin to see your facelift's remarkable transformation, including a more youthful, revitalized appearance.
Six Months
At the six-month point, you'll fully realize the results of your facelift, with a transformed face and improved self-confidence, comfort, and appearance. You'll appreciate the positive impact of your facelift on your overall well-being and self-esteem.
