Dr. Barnes is one of the most highly trained and experienced aesthetic surgeons in the US having completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at Texas A&M and a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship endorsed by the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery at Ohio State University. During this time, he served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery taking part in the training of plastic surgery residents.
Dr. Barnes specializes in breast and body surgery and has performed over three thousand breast augmentations, including thousands of lifts and reductions, making him one of the most experienced breast surgeons in the country. He has also conducted thousands of body contouring procedures from liposuction, mommy makeovers, to massive weight loss patients.
Dr. Barnes approaches consultations by truly listening to each of his patients. He takes pride in understanding his patient’s unique goals, working together to develop a plan to achieve the desired results, while guiding and educating them every step of the way.
Dr. Barnes established the foundations of his education, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree at Portland State University, following a Medical Degree at the esteemed Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California, where his involvement in both volunteer and teaching opportunities contributed to molding his character and skill in the field, preparing him to be recognized amongst the top surgeons in the nation.
